arctic art sales - walrus tusks
 
The Walrus (Odobenus rosmarus) is listed under CITES Appendix III and requires a CITES export permit to be shipped out of Canada. All tusks shown were taken by Inuit hunters. The animals are taken for their meat with the tusks being used to make tools or for carving small ivory figurines or jewellery like pendants or earrings.

Please note:

US laws do not allow walrus tusks from Canada to be shipped to the United States.
