| Soapstone
is a soft, talgic rock with a marble-like appearance. It is composed of
serpentine, talc and carbonates. It is called soapstone due to its soft,
soapy consistency. It comes in all kind of colours and shades. Although
grey is the most common colour in the
Nuuk/Godthåb
area, other colours like brown and green are also found.
