| Polar bear hides, narwhal
tusks, walrus tusks, etc. Occasionally we are able to obtain furs,
hides and tusks from animals that are legally hunted by Inuit hunters.
This
is not a trophy hunt and each year only a limited number of each species
becomes available for hunting. While those animals are first of all hunted
for their meat, selling the hides and tusks, provides the native hunters
and their families with much needed additional income.
All tusks and cranium are being cleaned and conserved, while furs and hides are being factory tanned, prior to their sale. Some of these products require export permits from the country of origin and import permits of the countries they are shipped to. When shipping parts of animals that are
listed on the endangered species list to countries that allow their import,
I provide all the necessary legal documents such as cities permits,
